Co-founder, Australian Families 4 Genomics

Hazel co-founded Australian Families 4 Genomics (AF4G) in 2019 after her teenage son was diagnosed with cancer. AF4G is a not-for-profit organization promoting and enabling upfront genomic sequencing, providing better options for cancer patients to access and share their personal genomic and health data with healthcare professionals and researchers. Hazel brings over 30 years of experience in the health sector, having worked as a clinician, researcher, health services manager, and specialist in organizational wellbeing and culture.
